THATS WHAT IT WAS!!! I had that problem too. I knew there were two things i had to fix to get the idle right but couldnt remember the second one. I actually had to take mine off to see the crack. It was right inbetween the first and second rib on the bend coming from the TB. But yours has a CAI right?

 

yeah it is, i actually found something wrong w/ the help of stk crx, there is 2 metal vacuum tubes, ones connected to the charcoal canister, and one is soposed to go to the stock airbox, well its just open, and it actually goes to the egr vavle, and my elbow only has a breather connection, usaully there is a vacuum nipple, i am assuming thats where it should go since i no longer have a stock air box, going to do that and see if it helps

I think we got it figured out. That vac line that is off is the EGR Vent line. If it doesnt get any kind of vac then it would throw Idle off...IONO but it is a start

You should really make it out to the probe meets they have at Firestone in Hampton. I used to roll with Darren every once in a while and ive never laughed so hard in my life. Seriously a guy pulled up in a probe with chicken wire, VINYL SIDING SIDE SKIRTS!!!, fake exaust pipes comming out of the fenders, and then he spray painted red along the bottom of the car, hitting the rims as well. I was crying I laughed so hard watching the side skirts flap in the wind. HAHAHAHAHHA .... then he seriously tried to have a conversation with me and STK CRX about putting on 3 airfilters so it would go faster.

hey man bad news, was riding around going to get a few things for the car, and it died out, wouldnt start... then when it did, black smoke, running reeeeeeeeal rich, replace a cracked silicone coupler, then i get 2 miles down the road and this mother fucker is over heating, pull into taco bell, the fucking coolant resevoir by the tire was boiling, i can see $$$$$ out my ass with this
