Vietnam House closed down...I thought they were the best...I think they all suck. Don't go to the one over in Janaf, it is horrible. I hope that isn't the one people are talking about on Military Hwy.

- Went over there for lunch today. Definitely good food and the place is real nice. From outside I questioned it a bit, but once you go inside it's real nice!

but yeah, i went to the new one on military. saigon pho. and i was not impressed. the thai tea was great! but not authentic. you could tell they used the instant powder. brand new resturant and they give me old veggies (basils, bean sprouts, ect); i mean come on! seriously?

the owner was going around asking everyone how was everything and i just didnt have the heart to tell him that the pho soup was sour/bitter. the meat in my soup was not thin enough and was over cook and tough. my girlfriend couldnt even finsh hers b/c she didnt like it. her brother got the tet hue and said it was good though. the place looks nice and its close to home but i will stick with saigon #1

i mean seriously all you need for pho is great tasting soup + thin tender mean + fresh veggies. for the guy who girlfriend's family own it, tell them this equation! and i will bring my money.

 

Did the hundred mile round trip to Pho 79 for lunch today. It's Pho King good! Just what the doctor ordered, thanks.
