Has anyone spent a good time outside today? It's been ridiculously hot.

My thermometer is saying it's 97 degrees in the shade (which doesn't take into account the heat earlier today in the sun). I was outside for 4 hours earlier installing a sound system and I was about to pass out from the heat.

Anyone been suffering from the heat here?

I heard on the radio it was so hot that some guy who got arrested went crazy from heat exhaustion, got naked, and beat a live pigeon on the hood of a car until it was dead.

 

I cut 6 yards today starting at 11:30..I ended up finishing at 1:45ish, granted they are all beside each other, but fuck was it hot.

 

yesterday after work I was talking on my cell phone outside and a bead of sweat dripped out of my elbow crease/crack area...I decided that it was disgustingly hot and to motivate on inside...

 

then i ate the pigeon

 

Pussies.

It was 140 last year when I was in Iraq and 125 with 98% humidty when I was in Qatar

 

125 while raining + jetblast off the coast of singipore (sp)

 

lol....I honestly want to know what that is like. that's absolutely incredible...what does that feel like, in all honesty, with your best analogy.

 

What really sucks is when there is a two car accident in the middle of the day and it backs up traffic making my trek from ODU take an hour and some change, when it's normally a 20-25 minute commute.

I almost beat my own ass for taking the AC out of my car.

 

I used to be accustomed to this type of heat a few years ago when I would run for miles in full gear during football conditioning.

Other than that, I'm currently a pasty-white guy now who enjoys his A/C.

 

ever accidently pointed a heat gun in your face? thats what it feels like in the gulf
