So at the end of the Local Softball Leagues thread, we decided we should try to put together our own VADriven team. We need to get a serious headcount going as registration closes on March 13. It's been approved by Sung, so if we can get enough guys together, we should be able to field a team.

It'll be $30 a person (give or take for now) so we will have enough to cover the $500 team registration. PM me or respond here if you're seriously interested. We'll be playing in the VB Rec Softball League. Spread the word too, we need to get this thing going fast! Practice starts April 1 and the season starts beginning of May and runs through late July.

my shoulder is gone so i cannot throw that well. but i can catch and def. hit. i played baseball ever since i was 4 all the way through high school, never played softball though?

 

I never played softball bro. Lifelong baseball player here. Just come out and have fun. I got tendinitis in my elbow bad at the end of HS but I can still throw. Just can't throw a curve without paying the price later.

 

word, i've been itching to get back on the orange dirt again. what are the rules. i have jeter 9 spikes metal. i need also a glove being that i only have an ssk 11.5" haha

 

I RECOMMEND AT LEAST 12 PLAYERS AND 2 OF THEM HAVE TO BE PITCHERS.
