I've never waited less than an hour at that one. I need to start going when you do.

The ONLY time that place is ever fast is in the middle of the month and the middle of the day. I've done my research...

I went in there the other day to register my jeep and I got there an hr. before they opened and still waiting for a total of 3 hrs.

Joe, I don't care what this man says. I'm willing to be that if you go you'll stay well over an hr. and a half if not two hrs.

I went to get my SRT4's tags updated and it took me 5 minutes from the time I pulled up. I got there at like 2 in the afternoon.

+1. That is by far the slowest DMV I've been to. I spent at least 2 hours EACH when registering both my Mustang nad my Escort there.

I prefer to goto DMV while most people are at work. It kinda makes sense.

As do I becuase I usually do it on the clock.

I used to live next door to that place and my dad was ALWAYS buying/selling cars so I was in there A LOT. I've gone through my fair share of cars (6 since '02) and every time I've waited well over an hr.

Not when you still sit in line for 3 hours.

Which is what I did the time before last when I went to Poplar Hall. I only had to wait an hour the last time I went when I registered my ITR.

Find out what time the DMV opens, show up 30 minutes prior. This works at every DMV.

Only thing that worked for me when I had to change my license over to NY State. DMV's and Post Offices up here are insane. You think they're rude in VA? HAH!
