Saturday night = Clutch!
Sunday night = GWAR

Anybody else going to either of these concerts? I just picked up my tickets for both shows this afternoon.

 

I think everyone will be too busy with RUSH on saturday at the amphitheater!
GWAR would be entertaining to see but i don't listen to their music

 

ill go if i get some free tickets

 

I find this funny, that you think that anybody that would be into the bands at the NORVA would actually pass to go see a back from the dead tour.

As for GWAR, it is definitely a very entertaining show, probably the most fun I've ever had at a show as far as all the water that's sprayed everywhere, and the "real-life comic book" type stuff that goes on on stage.

As far as free tickets, can't help you there, but I do know the guitarist for Clutch, so I'm planning on hanging out backstage.

 

I thought GWAR's last show was April 15th of last year. Oh well...given the choice of the two I would pick Rush.

 

Don't know where you heard that, they just released a new CD last year, and were here in October. This Sunday will be the second time they have been here on this tour.

Well, I've been seeing GWAR shows since 1989 at the peppermint beach club. I don't think they've had anything original to do since 1995.

 

You mean on stage? I'm not a huge fan, I've known about them since seeing "The Road Behind" on Headbanger's Ball back when it first came out, but didn't really start listening to them until '99s "We Kill Everything". And I stand corrected, "Violence Has Arrived" (the latest offering from GWAR) was released in 2001, which shows exactly how much I keep up with them.
Last October was my first time seeing them live, making this Sunday my second time.

 

So did anyone else go to the show? I know I saw Judge there, woulda said Hi Charles, but I didn't want to lose my spot up on the barricade.
