There is a simple solution to your problem.

It's called fabbing. Thats the route I'm taking. I've got a shop down in SoCal in Santa Ana that will get a decent fitting exhaust manifold made up for 1300 bucks (car is just gonna end up sitting there for ages... only downside), after that.. an ape could do the rest.

So judging from your sig you're a miata owner... whats the situation on Miatas out there? Are there plenty? Are they expensive? In decent shape? Most of them raped and riced out to slamburglar status like in SoCal?

Spec Miata is sort of popular. I go to college at JMU in VA and a lot of our alumni from the car club race Miatas. You can find unmolested ones and they are dirt cheap comparatively.
