What year sol do you have? The 97 front bumper is absolutely gorgeous with a nice lip on it.

 

I have a 93.

LoL.. man the car is already in the shop. Its too late to change my mind.
Besides, its the first time Im able to afford to do this to a car.
Just gonna have to see how it turns out, but Im sure I will get the ricer comments.
It will still be quick and clean.

Just make sure you get the paint code . I've got a friend that can hook you up with a new spray job on a 97 bumper when you get to the states, lol. Trophies are just from some local shows.

Welcome buddy the scene is great down here. And the only advise i can give is stay away from the oceanfront if its not stock here in the state of virginia it is not legal.. Believe me the rest of us can tell you from experience espeacially if you have a exhaust or you are lowered they will find what ever.. Yeah Register your car somewhere else cause you might get pulled alot down here or you might get lucky.....lol

actually the one you posted is R33. It gets confused alot. The R-34 design doesnt have the 2 little cutouts under the lights. Here is al ink to where LA got my kit from and a pic of the R-34 style they have. click on the pic to make it bigger.

Ok yeah I know which one you are talking about. I've only seen one car I've ever remotely liekd that front end on, and it wasn't a del sol, sorry. LOL. Its cool, as long as you aren't a dueschebag, and as long as you are happy with it, then it won't bother me.

 

LoL..thanks. Yeah the one car it looks cool on is the Nissan Skyline.

The reason I went for that one is it isnt to extreme and it didnt have pieces sticken out everywhere that looked like they could stab little kids and dogs. Plus it still has a large mouth for an intercooler in the future.

Ive been reading in the other threads though about how tough the laws are. I already run an aftermarket exhaust. So in the event I do get fined how much is it going to cost me?

Also how are the environmental checks workin there for emissions and stuff?

It sucks they are so strict on the beach, but Im sure thats where everyone wants to cruise.

Oh and how are the winters since Ill be arriving in Jan., you know snow and such?

Winter's are terrible. Usually snows 2-3 times a year, but only once is usually at all significant. I've honestly never gotten a ticket for my exhaust or any other mods, but I've been pulled out quite a few. As far as emissions go, we have a yearly inspection of our cars, but emissions aren't tested. The check for brake wear, tires, suspension, exhaust leaks occasionally, basically just saftey equipment to make sure the vehicle functions properly. You do have to run a catalytic converter though.

 

Cool, that sounds a little better than what I've been reading. Can you get away with a racing cat? I dont have one at the moment, that'll definitely have to be added to the shopping list.

So what motor are you running? Im looking to supercharge at the moment since it seems the safest on stock internals. But I do miss having a turbo. Is there anyone who has an extensivley tuned B18C5 I could talk to?
