dood, is it right hand drive? arent most cars in europe right hand drive? unless you bought it here and took it there....

 

Pics - Here are a few pics. The car as it was. The engine and a close up of the engine block code. I picked up the engine, tranny, driveshafts, motor mounts, ECU, wiring harness(uncut), shfit linkage...pretty much everything I needed for 1700 pounds at the current exchange rate of 1.82 when I bought it that came to around 3,095 shipped to my door.
Oh and Im staying OBD1 so if anyone wants the p73 ECU and full integra type r wiring harness let me know. Im also getting rid of a Greddy strut tower bar since the B18 wont fit under it. Im able to ship to the states at standard cost and Im sure something could be worked out.

I'm looking for a few good shops to go to once I get there for parts and tunning. Possibly some interior bits redone, cause if you have seen a sol you know the doors are the first thing to go bad. A place with a good dyno at a decent price would be awesome.

Ok Im having trouble getting the pics to upload...My size is just too big. Im going to work on it some more and then will be back to post these. I think throwing them in paint will make them smaller. I usually use picture it and I have a 5.0 megapixel camera. Sorry about that.

Most cars are Right hand drive here, but they allow left hand drive since Europe is so close and American military are allowed to ship our cars over. We even have dealerships for new Cars on and around the base where you can buy British spec. The one cool thing is they get all kinds of cars here, pretty much everything from Japan too.

The only real problem is when you try to pass in an American or german spec vehicle. You definitely need ot make sure your far enough back to see around the other vehicles. Especially since the roads are so small here.

Im definitely happy to be comming back stateside for abit.

I've seen a lot of pictures from the UK area. Most of the body kit deals are past due right now. Not too many still have them anymore, but you will still find them. I'll have to wait to see pictures before I decide anything about it, but either way, as long as you are cool about everything, and don't do stupid shit, then I'm sure you can find some people to hang around with.

A lot of people up here go to Tuner's Edge to get work done on the Peninsula as far as performance goes. Elite does some decent interior/stereo work. And Millenium is the closest dyno around here I can think of. There are a couple of people on the boards here that work there, so I'm sure they could fill you in on pricing.

Yeah I noticed alot of people arent into kits anymore.
I love the sol but I hated the front. The guys at LA hooked me up with a free kit though. So Im not going to turn it down. I think it will look alright once everything is done. I will definitely post some more pics.
Either way if everyone loves it or hates it, im still the one thats gotta drive it.
