Check out the FSAE team we have here at school, www.odumotorsports.com

-Are there any meet spots? How often?
You'll figure out where they are when ya get here.

-Any tracks nearby?
1/4- Dinwiddie is closest.
Auto-x - Pungo is literally in va beach. Also ACU-4 is held at the amphib base which turns out to be a sweet (and very fast ) track www.autocross.us

-What are some good bars and restaurants?
Winterish, generally Granby street in downtown Norfolk is the happening place. In the summer the beach has plenty of bars. Locals tend to avoid the mainstream bars as they cater to tourists.

I'm from san diego too, youre going to miss the mexican food if you like it. I also saw it as more chill around here compared to back at home in Cali.

Where are you stationed at? What are you attached too?

Yeah I need a good dyno shop and tuner. I'll hit you up.

The mexican food is good out here. Oh well, I guess I better eat it up now while I can.

The asian food here is pretty damn good too.

I will have to check that out. (ODU motorsports) Especially since I am designing my own exhaust system(manifold and all), Intake manifold, and do most of my own machine work. I like planning and building shit. I also have some of my own test equipment since I work in a calibration lab(flow meters, pressure guages, and temp probes). I am using these to test out my new exhaust system that I am constructing now.

Thanks for the autocross link.

By the way, do you have any pics of your car(s)?
I have pics, but WTDR is down right now. I will put them up later.

Haha. Long time no talk to man. You still on non-vtec alot? I used to talk to you on there. Anyways, when are you gonna be here? You gonna be stationed at oceana? We might have to get together when we get here. I wanna get a look at your hatch.

Not true. I have lived here 15 years, and I am not used to it yet. Didn't we have snow, and 60 degrees yesterday in the same day?
