Joe, this is who Terry (boostfed) recommended me to go also. Therefore, he has to be decent.

don't bang in your floorboard... seen this happen too many times. looks awful.

if you do anything, cut material out of the hangers and reweld, or get shorter hangers if you're worried about the weld breaking. where exactly is the clearance issue? do you have any pictures of the way the exhaust is currently hanging on the car?

i can recommend the mizer on jefferson avenue... pretty far away but the shop manager was an older dude with a 2002 Z28. they never charged me more than i expected.

ok ok first thing

SLP Loudmouth is for beginners that only want to spend minimal amount of money for "exhaust system"

You def need to stick with your duals. I'm running LT's and Texas speed tru duals and its sick. I should have done this first.

Second, about your clearance issue. DONT change anything!!! If you having a clearance issue, the slow the f down and stop running stuf over!! take the speed bumps more carefully! Once you start messing with stuff like shorting the exhaust hangers, your going to get all kinds of rattling inside the interior and DEF DEF DEF do not beat in the floorboard! I mean it's bad enough that we have that obnoxious bump in the pass floorboard!

Is your car lowered? If so, go back to stock springs? If not, consider going to DOT slicks in the rear. I personally think it looks OK to have the rear slightly higher than the front on RWD vehicles. This could raise up the rear a bit and provide a bit mroe clearance.

If you have any more questions then PM me.

Or we should totally take the birds down to the strip and show them off, lol

First. Yeah I don't like the LM exhaust.

Second. My exhaust hangs VERY low. Like much lower than any other dual set-up I've seen, so I know it can sit up higher.

Third. I don't drive like an idiot. The only time I scrape is on speed bumps and expansion joints on the highway when there's someone in the front seat over 150lbs but like I said my exhaust hangs A LOT lower than everyone else's duals I've seen. Hell there are a couple guys on here that have TD's and have seen mine and can vouche for that.

Fourth. My car isn't going to see any slicks of any kind until I have a 12 bolt or a 9".

I know for a fact my exhaust can sit up higher. It looks fine until you get near the bullets and then it starts hanging low...the rest of the exhaust sits up fine for me.
