I need some fresh ideas/opinions. As some of you know I have longtube headers on my car with a set of pre-fabbed "true duals" (X pipe with bullets). The car is set-up for a Y-pipe exhaust and I'm having problems with the exhaust hanging so low.

Honestly from the looks of it it appears that my hangers that are holding my bullets up need to be cut, my floorboard (under the car) on the driverside needs to be beat in a little bit and the hangers need to be re-welded (possibly cut a little shorter).

My problem is I have access to a lift, but it's hard for me to get time to go to it and when I do it's in use and I don't know how to weld. Can anyone recommend a shop that might be able to help me out. Yes a place that isn't going to charge me a an arm and leg as well.

My exhaust isn't technically legal either.

 

If you're having trouble actually getting on the lift itself, I'd be more than happy to escort you onto LAFB so that you could use ours in the hobby shop. I think they charge like $2.50 an hour or something... I have a friend there that is can weld good. I can weld alright. Let me know.

My duals sound sick. I can't get rid of them.

If I wanted a raspy ass shitty sounding exhaust then I would've just kept my old V6 camaro and ran straight pipes out the back. No muffler.
