Thanks guys for the replies...i took it to Tread quarters and they had a hunter alignment machine..kudos.
regarding the hood pins, yes they are ugly i agree but it saves worries. There was a guy with an S4 making 400+hp w/ cf hood and the hood flew off at summit @ the track. He was going right around 100-120 mph when the hatch broke off.
anyone with experience can install them??

Yeah, hood pins are pretty easy to install, you just have to drill holes in the radiator support for the pins and then 2 holes in the hood to receive them. The rest is even easier.
