She's not really "stuck" on a Rabbit. She loved her Golf and now she wants a Rabbit. I'm sure she could find something else, but she wants a new car and there isn't really anything else that's out she wants that's affordable (for lack of better words)

I know the money on the trade in is the main issue so don't let her get something she'll regret. She (and you) will be unhappy if she gets something she doens't really like. She needs to do like you're doing and keep making the payments on the truck. It'll happen eventually.

He will probably be able to give you a decent idea of what they'll offer on trade in (I bet it's more than $12k ) and he can tell you what they have to offer. They work along the lines of Hall. They put a "no haggle" price on the window.

or reliable VW's are nice car and the rabbit especially the old ones have always looked good, and with the right engine there pretty quick, the new ones are nice though so if you could i'd go with that, just sucks about the 8k ........................Big D

 

she is crushed in her trade... best way out is to lease into another vehicle so that u dont get hit 100% of her neg equity.

10k is about right as far as trade in value goes... depending on how equipped it is, u may be able to get 11.5k.

added warranties doesnt add to value of ur vehicle.

u can get the warranties cancelled and get partial credit back from the dealer u purchased the warranties through.
