Angry Dealerships

Heres the deal......Was dealing with Dealership(we'll call dealership A for now).
My credit is Sh*t. The sales guy told me for three weeks that i'm approved for an R6....I was waiting to get my insurance down payment. I call him a couple days ago and tell him i will be in in the next 2 days to get the bike...Ask him if there is anything else i need. He says no(as well as the other 30 times i have called him over the last 3 weeks). Tells me all i need to do is come in with my insurance and i am driving the bike out....Well i get scheduled for a safety course out of sheer luck so that i can drive on base so i go to pick up the bike tonight...Suddenly i'm not approved for the bike i want but he can put me on a GSXR-600 But only a yellow one....Not the color that would be my first choice, but hey i can deal with that.....The thing that pisses me off is that 1.the manager is trying to dictate what bike he will put me one..2...the color of the bike he will put me on..3 now i sudden;y need a bunch more paperwork to get the bike..4..Now i miss the calls that is booked up till august.... anyone know of any GOOD dealerships i can go check out tomm????

Dude, sounds like BS to me. How can you be approved for one bike and not another? He was trying to sell you what he needed to sell.

I wouldn't go back there if I was you.

yamaha and suzuki get their loans through different lenders, it was very common when i was at honda for a guy to get turned down at honda on a cbr 600rr and then go get approved for a gsx-r 600 for the same price... so thats probably why he can get you the gsx-r and not the yamaha, i wouldn't suspect that he has any hidden motive to sell the gsx-r to you over the R6 such as dealer rebates or ensentives because they just sell themselves... but still sounds like they are being shitty about the situation

well he originally told me i was approved for the R6 Then he wanted to put me on the GSXR......And the financing, Considering my credit, was prob through some cut throat place that sends Vito over to break your knees if you miss a payment

I would say that too.

If you're credit is that bad than he wasn't trying to finance you through Suzuki or Yamaha in the first place. Like you said, just some 22% interest rate corporation that isn't gonna care if it's a moped you're riding.

I'm still going with he was trying to sell you something he needed to sell.

if it was a left over '03 600 then 600F4 you might be right... but if its a '04 then that would not be the case
