to remove the HANDLE clip that keeps the knob on, use a hankerchief, slide it back and forth on the bottom side of the knob, the clib will pop out, MAKE SURE you get it back, or the handle wont stay on. also, some handles require the knob to be at the top, and slide the hanky from the bottom back and forth.

good luck. also, may only need glue to replace it.
