I was going down 64 and was passing some traffic when i passed a State trooper, unknowingly. Well he follows me for a little then pulls me over. Long story short i got a wreckless driving ticket. He stated he paced me at 90/55 i'm sure my speedo stated 80 but i'm not one to say i'm wasn't speeding. But just in case i will be getting my speedo recalabrated. This is my first wreckless ever. Well flame on....

Dude, that fucking sucks. You can change the speedo gear going into your tranny and it'll throw it way off for your calibration.

atleast you were honest about it. most people get on here claiming they were going the speed limit or they were entrapped. get a lawyer, and try to get it reduced to improper driving. it might not work but it only carries three points as opposed to the six you would get for reckless driving. good luck with it.

 

well I'm sure if u thought u were running 90 and a cop was behind u "pacing" you wouldn't be doing 90 . . specailly if you saw him . .
I got pulled over once on rt 17 in Newport news . . near the hospital . . cop didn't clock me but said I was racing and he pulled out of the hospital and had to do 90 to catch me . . was funny cuz the distance ins't enought to get the car up to 90 especially up hill . . .
but yeah got my share of ticket . .100/55 . . . lost my license for 6 months. . 600 dollars in fines, 40 ours of community service . . .
