A few years ago Trick Flow heads had some issues with poor valve guides that wouldn't hold up. I'm not sure they fixed that problem yet and I've been out the the 5.0 game for awhile. You don't want iron heads.

AFR's are doing the best job with what's available now. Unless you want to go some radical drag only setup, they would be your best bet. I'm sure we've got plenty of MM&FF issues we can loan you with flow numbers and bench tests.

When are you supposed to get back?

Nope, 351 is much more stout and depending on what the block came from, 4-bolt main vs. shitty 2-bolt. The 302's have very thin material between the bores. You can get a Dart or Sportsman block for a good deal sometimes, but I would build the 351 up, perhaps throw a little stroker in it and be the shit.

A stroked 351 would be nice with some AFR heads and a GT40 block

236/238 .601/.605 112lsa. LT's into stock exhaust does sound like shit, even I know that. But it keeps Mr. Officer happy, which is what I'm going for.
