Default Moving to Atlanta, need a trailer for a weekend in late Sept.

I am moving to Atlanta in Late september and will need a trailer (enclosed pref.) for a 3 day weekend.

I have checked UHaul but would rather not spend $400+ to rent a trailer for an 8 hour trip.

SO, does anyone on here have a trailer that they'd be willing to either donate for the weekend with a decent deposit or rent one or something.

Please post on here or PM me with any info, etc.

THANKS,
Jason

Actually right down the street from Snellville.

If you were to take Lenora Church down to GA 20 (Pleasant Hill) the house is right on the corner up on the hill.

$30/day if you return it to the same location for a 6'x12'. Might be worthwhile since if you borrow one you gotta return it anyways. You get ripped for a one-way if it's not a highly trafficked route. I got a 6'x12' one way from Richmond VA to Manhattan NY for $96 (and you get it for 3 days on a one-way).

Might want to stop in a uHaul place to try some other locations nearby for pickup/drop off that will save you money.

^ I looked and U Hauls website and was wondering about returning it to the same location.

Dont they charge mileage on it though?

Not for trailers, there is no odometer on them.

O SWEET, problem solved. I always thought they had an odometer attached to the axles.

uHaul does not have odometers on trailers. I've only seen axle odometers on tractor trailers.

Check with your credit card if it's a Gold or Platinum, or whatever to see if you automatically get insurance coverage for rentals, mine does. Don't forget to deduct moving expenses on your taxes if you are changing your permanent residence.
