local dj meet
I'll talk to some people to see if I can find a spot to do this in and more heads to get down.
I have access to plenty of equipment (the Stanton Session Box will be handy for this) so I'll see what I can do.

I'm down to set up in my garage if we can get some tables to set coffins on, and PA stuff... I'm heading out of the country here mid-July for approximately 4 months, so I'd like to do it before I go...
I'd estimate we could probably fit 3-4 coffins, and 15-20 people inside and outside of my garage.
Tim's idea of renting a hotel ballroom might not be a bad idea though.

renting out a ballroom will cost a lot of money... we are just starting off and see what people can do... if a little garage set-up is a success, we can move up to a ballroom or something like that... if local shops throw a little amateur dj show or a meet, it would create a big profit for the shop and also, some recognitions for the local djs.. back in california, local clothing/tuning shops do this kind of stuff for an advertisement for their business...
