So the europeans make a complete sports car... hmmm how the hell do you take a little car like a golf and make it weight 350 pounds more than my big V8 car? It heavier and has 200 horses less, how's it ever going to handle as good or be a better "sports car"? I just don't understand the logic of paying that much for what you got? WTF the R32 weighs almost as heavy as a 3000gt/stealth, he could also have the fastest civic w/that kind of money but he wants the R32 so on the new car.

 

5speed, I have been watching this thread very closely and i have grasped the concept that no one is going to change your mind that you basically wasted your money. you chose a car thats too expensive for what it is and a dipper in the pocket to mod and even worse its all motor.... i can point you in the direction of a few guys all motor FWD you would never want to run into and these guys got civics.... but its a sweet looking car though. i dont mean to discourage but a STi, EVO, SRT, WRX are some cars you would have nightmares about after you've raced them.

cut him slack. he likes the car. I love my rotary no one could convince me to like it any less. waste of money. IMO yes. for 30k i woulda got a turbo 911 with some modds to spare. As for the vette and viper thing being the best bang for the buck. its cuz its a domestic. if we were in germany or japan i doubt any of us would bother looking at one. I wouldn't bother looking at one here unless it was a 04 viper no offence to the lovers but i grew up a porsche brat and was born into vette hatred
Now if they sounded like a ferrari or a carrera GT....then i might make and exception haha i don't care for the nascar sound at all.

i'm down for a race, I've seen several R32 locally in maryland and they are sweet. just my personal opinion, i wouldn't dump 30K for that.
