Bringing up money is the most unclassiest thing you could ever do. You have no respect from me. I've never met/seen you, but you sound like a little brat from your posts who didn't get what he wanted.

i ran 14.1 with my stock r32... and that was shifting at 6500 instead of the 7200 redline... i think it's pretty quick:-/

14.1's not that quick. THis thread is old and you should be shot. I don't even think this tool got this car. ANd why not shift where your supposed to. I guess everyone needs an excuse for something.

Ricer.... always shift at redline when drag racing. Unless of course you're driving a stockish 96-98 GT stang where it runs out of breath over 5500.

not all rice, i know with 240s at least you just lose power at that kind of rpms, theyre not built like hondas that make that god awful, raspy ass, disgusting sound with of course the shitty exaust most f&f fanatics pick up at the local pepboys. oh and i forgot theyre still going 30mph

i'm not a ricer... i just didn't know the car. on the tach on the dash it redlines at 6500... then another VW owner informed me that it actually redlined at 7200. i admitted to being a dumbass for not doing any research and i moved on. and sorry for replying to an old thred... but didn't you guys just reply as well? i'm not trying to cause anymore arguements. i stated what i performed. i stated my opinion. sorry for the interuption

why would the tach on the dash say 6500 and the real "safe" redline be 7200? I could see a rev limiter a few hundred rpms higher. My car reds at 6500 but has a limiter at 6600.
