Deez a Z06 will destroy an audi quattro and an M3 in handling... it's no contest. My neighbor had a 2002 6-speed M3 and he loved it. Then I got the vette and took him for a ride/drive. Now he's rolling in a black 2003 Z06 (still has the M but for sale). We both track the cars so I know how to drive the thing... going back to VIR in three weeks. You want a hard car to drive well get a Viper... 500 ft/lbs of torque, no abs, no traction control, all you! Remember that just because a car is hard to drive fast, doesn't mean it's not ridiculously fast in the hands of the right driver.

None taken , but I have driven MANY cars and was not impressed by the handling . It was a fast car with a TON of balls . But to throw a car like that into a corner and have it feel as loose as it did did not impress me . Like I said , if I were behind the wheel a tad but more ..... I will say the Z probably has handling beyond ALL of our limits , but that might be what makes it so unimpressive to me in that aspect . Like I said the whole time .... all of this is OPINION ! Just like alot of you think Jay is a fool for spending 30K on a VW . So you take your opinion and buy what you want , I'll take mine and buy an M3 , and Jay can have his R32 and we can all be happy !

This thread confirms the fact that most VW/Audi guys are straight up weird.

The R32 is a pig (3400#, good lord that's M5 territory ) and it seems to me that the biggest mistake of this specific one is the nut behind the wheel. Break the fucking thing in before you beat on it. You have all the time in the world to total it, at least give it a fair shot.

Oh, the best handling car I've run across was a 944 Turbo with coil-overs. But I haven't driven a Z06 yet.

maybe compared to fwd vw's but with that nice fly by wire BS that VW seems to love i doubt it'll ever launch the same as a subaru or an evo. no offense to you, just my POV.

as for the euro vs. euro, this is vw's premier coupe am i right? let's match that up to bmw's premiere coupe, and mercedes premier coupe... you're whole luxury and power kinda falls through the floor with that perspective eh?

as to r32 boy, man... you just called out the wrong type of car that's all, sweet dreams of beating wrx's

I'll run you in my 12v vr6, oh wait, I saw your other thread and it seems as if you already lost the car because you didn't have enough $$$ to buy it on your own...so now your back to your piece of shit 2.0 jetta, right where you belong.

It's a shame you make alot of the VW people look like jackasses.....
