Question info about stall converter

well im running a 2500rpm stall ... some one told me im guna have to rev it to 2000 before it will even move ... iv never heard this before every stall iv ever seen just acts like the trany is sliping till you hit your stall ... but never seen one just sit there till 2000 when you eas into it .... it should just slip bad right or may not move till over 1200 or something but not 2000 ? maybe some of the fbody guys can help ... make shure im right cus i dont wana be punching it every time i take off....

Umm, most stock converters are like 14-1600 stahl anyways, its not gona be too noticable. I got a 2500 stahl in my car and its nothin....the thing is it really doesnt start pullin till its stahl speed.
