Is this key per VIN limited to Hondas or do other manufacturers do it too?

i think that each car manufacturer has a master key for each of its vehicle models and years, this is how many lock smiths open cars, and many of these keys can be ordered online by simply showing "proof" of a lock smith company. also there are many people that work at dealerships or have accesss to these keys that would rather make a few extra bucks at the expense of someone elses stolen car

Well all I gotta say on this matter is I hope they catch whoever is doing it because I don't like seeing people that spent their hard earned bucks to mod their car have that shit stolen at the drop of a hat. I know what it's like to have a car stolen and it's no fun luckily for me I got mine back after the theifs wrecked it. But that was a long time ago.
