whats the lowest a car can be lowered(law wise) in Virginia beach?

 

the top of the bumper (the rebar...not bumper cover) has to be no lower than 14"

 

ok thanks, so many people were getting pulled over at ocean front for altered suspension, so i was just making sure.

 

cops crack down on that in different areas, and each cop is different...

but statewide thats the legal rule.

try not to make ure car bounce a lot, dont tailgate trucks and etc, and they shouldnt have a problem. I was tucking 14's on my old ek hatch and chilled beside a state trooper.

 

my ek's suspension is pretty stiff, every small bump feels like im about to take off, but its great in handling. thanks for the hints.

 

Don't drive like a fucktard and don't give a cop to pull you over and you'll be fine.

I'm almost tucking 15s with 205/50s and I've gone to the ocean front almost every weekend since I put the suspension on and never had a issue other than getting over speedbumps

thanks thats what i was looking for. what was so fucked up was this guy in a teggy was at a stop light and the cop was on a mnt bike, the cop sees him and gets his registration and license and tells him to go into a parking lot. and possibly wrote him a ticket

 

And turn the damn stereo down. I've speed beside cops before and they never looked twice at me because I wasn't drawing attention to myself. If you're being a general annoyance in traffic they're going to look for a reason to give you shit.
