If you're in Norfolk do Granby St... lots of decent bar/clubs. Waterside is ghetto military whorish trash (BAR Norfolk and Have a Nice Day Cafe). We used to go the HANDC all the time, but it was for free drinks.
Va Beach town center has nice restaurants and some good bars like Keegans and Red Star allthough Red Star is loosing some of it's "coolness".
Oceanfront is complete Ghetto trash... if you like that the go have fun. There's a few decent places at the North End like catch 31 (or is it 32), and CP shuckers, but I think it's moved.... Mahi Mahs isn't bad either.
Over on Shore Drive there's Hot Tuna (which is a cockfest x10) and Kokoemos which is sort of the new Duck In. It's pretty much packed Friday and Saturday nights, but it's a beachy crowd. Tuesday night there was so much hot ass in there I swore I'd taken a trip to Florida or California... most definately not va beach.
Also on shore is Off Shore, Cabo (tappas place that is a bar at night), and Guadalaharas (get a jumbo 190 octane).

Also, Norfolk has one of the highest HIV rates on the east coast and there is a large Syphilis outbreak right now. All this comes from my friends who are residents at Norfolk General.
So... when you're trying to raw dog some whore, yes we've all done it... think twice.

Scotty Quixx is another good place to go for nice music fri and sat.

Excess at the beach has real good music too. Audio Ammo is probly one of the best Dj crews in the area. only thing about excess is the crowd of ppl there tend to suck. its hot as fuck inside too

IMO, Catch 31 is only a decent place to "chill" during the week, and lately even then I would only say Sunday/Monday/Tuesday nights. Don't get me wrong, the place is really nice, security every where, no riff raff, but they play the music WAY too loud for what it is set up to be, and Thurs/Fri/Sat nights the place is so fucking crowded you're ass deep in everyone around you. But it's one of the IT places. If you want to be seen put on your best outfit, buy a drink, kick game to one of the many MILF's or other fine ladies inside, get the number and bounce to somewhere off Shore Drive and rendevous with them there.

So besides the beach front... is there like a Top 3...yall have named ALOT of clubs...looks like SEVENS, and maybe Catch 31 are hot...atleast i know there is a big choice...and no i dont wanna be around ANY of the navy tools.

7s sucked last night. We were on the "guest list" thinking we wouldnt have to wait...but everyone and there mama was on the "guest list" we waited 1hr inline. Wouldnt of waited that long but as soon was we got near the front of the line they stopped people from coming in telling everyone it was to capacity...got in there finally shi was empty plenty of room for all those people inline...and what pissed me off was they were letting other people skip the line..i know you gota hook some people up...but what about your "guest"...im a wait to go back till that place cools down...nice place and all...but they need better door people....they just wanted a line out there to make that shit look hyped...empty as shi when we got in there...music was only ok too...stayed only 20mins went to quix, and should of went to quix in the 1st place

2zz,what time did they finally let you in? I just payed the vip fee to not stand there,it did kinda suck early but it rocked later,same as premier. they were line "creating" early. maybe they will get it together in the weeks to come,they have alot to improve on. the vip fee is high,wonder what the cover will be any other time?

Granby Theatre/Premiere officially reopening next week.
I used to spin there on Asian Nights with Lacy & the crew.
Norfolk won't allow GT to do any more Hip-Hop events
