Hall Auto has been sold to MileOne
Alex,
Can you sell me an iPod mini that you guys are just handing out for free over there? I've been searching around the world and everyone has them out of stock. Thanks.
Matt
(Seriously. Steal one and I'll give you money for it.

But then I remembered that I might run into you while I was there, so I decided against it.

Funny
I think it is time for a new DD
i havent worked for hall for about 3 months and i heard about this like 2 weeks ago.
if there is anyone that would know... it would be alex.
im interested to know what will happen to the company. there are many changes happening right now with the nissan and mazda store so they wont be changing those locations.
between the buildings and land, im sure mr. hall pocketed a 100 million.

MileOne owns a bunch of car places up here in the DC/Baltimore Metro Area. They own at least one dealership of every car brand. They also own a chain of tire stores (Mr. Tire). I think they may own another chain of repair shops, but the name of the chain escapes me. Up here, they keep the dealership name. So, I wouldn't expect "Hall Honda" or whatever to be ripped down and replaced with "MileOne Honda". It will most likely be "Hall Honda" with "A MileOne Company" in small print or something to that effect. They try to market each dealership as its own self, they don't try to market themselves as a huge automotive dealership conglomerate.
I've had my car repaired at MileOne places and its the same as any other dealer. I hope all the employees keep their jobs. I don't recall MileOne doing any workforce overhauling when they took over, but then its been so long ago when MileOne got started around here that its tough to remember what it was like when they first got rolling.
