Yea! I coulda been worse. I kinda wish that it was. If I hadn't poped the clutch and moved up that 7 or so feet. He might have totaled my car. In that case I would have been able to buy it back cheap and still have a healthy chunk to build my motor with. Then I would just need to pick up a nice shell. But either way. I will be getting something out of it. There is always a bright side! Even if you have to add a few bulbs to get it that way!

 

My insurance is coming to look at it tomorrow. So hopefully I will know something quickly.

 

Um, if you only moved up 7ft. and that's the damage that was cause, it definitely wouldn't have totalled your car had you not moved.

 

its an older vehicle. It would have been totaled. It is a 91.

 

lol my 91 was just the same, but it was rear ended... in MY DRIVEWAY... by my ROOMMATE my damage was less than yours but hit the same panels/lights. ins. payed me and then i used less than that for the rear conversion.

Well... I talked to my company today (Progressive). They called for me and set up a claim with the other guys insurance (State Farm). Called and got a statement from him. Recorded everything and put it on file. Says that it is pretty much going to go my way pretty easily. The guy has admitted fault and they have it recorded.

 

Got the phone call from State Farm today. Told me that they will not start to process the claim till they hear from their driver. I told him that I will not be standing by idly. I dont care if he talks to his driver or not! My car will not stay like this for weeks and that they need to make a better effort. Dont call me on an accident 2 days ago that you have known about for more than 24 hours and tell me that I am gonna leave me waiting longer. Told me that he apologizes and will call me as soon as he makes contact.

We actually passed right by you after the cop had shown. That's my exit and when i saw the Z i was all craning to see how a cop pulled over a car and a pickup in that kind of traffic. Didn't notice any damage but gooooooooood luck getting that shit sorted out.
