RamAirGirl, i saw your pictures, yes that is a 01+ SLP Firebird GT, it is a 3.8 V6 with the Y87 "Performance" package it came with on the exterior: wheels, and stripe......it was also only produced in 01-02 in a limited run.....just like the camaro RS of 01-02.
here are the details of what the Y87 Package came with..... Zenxel-Torsen Limited Slip Differential (G80)
P235/55R16 Goodyear Eagle (QCB)
Dual Exhaust
Sport Steering (14.4:1 ratio – same as V8 cars)
Four-wheel Disc Brakes (J65)
Hope this clarifies some questions on the FIREBIRD GT.
jasonvt was right on the 94-95 Trans ams the TA GT came with a high rise spoiler which back then was an option. 93 there was no option it was a low spoiler only, much like yours Flow FX. a regular TA came with the Low spoiler from 93-95
