yeah iv'e heard all those wierd ass stories also..about the bridge and the chick hanging...it's all fucking wierd...iv'e heard some stories about elbow rd. also, has anyone else heard that one?

there is nothing wrong w/ elbow rd. i drive down that bitch day and night multiple times a week. speaking of elbow, that shit is prime realestate, when they gonna start building shit on elbow?

I used to do some really spirited.... ergh recklessly fast runs down that road. FUN!!!! But incredibly dangerous. I got out and hung around the bridge a couple of times, the only scary thing is the hype.
I did get chased by a pick-up once, and when I got to the Route 17 exit I spun out and didn't see the truck anywhere..... freaked me out. And once I was driving down the road and an Ipala passed me and randomly turned into the woods and disappeared. Route 5 between Richmond and Williamsburg is an AWESOME cruising road.

But my friend was getting chased by that same truck when he went on it and told us about it. Well me and some friend went down it in 3 cars was getting chased by this big ass truck and we turned around to go on the road again and head back to the parkway and it was gone and nowhere to be found. Also another thing I noticed was their were still puddles on the road around the bridge like 50 feet in front and 50 feet back but if you go further it perfectly fine.

So I went down Crawford and I posted my paranormal stories... Well I went down their and I saw something that got me so freaked out I basically started sweating, had tears in my eyes and shit...

So what did the truck look like. I've heard this same story before with a description of the truck. Let's compare ghost stories... Maybe the "flaming ghost car" morphed into a Cowboy Cadillac...
People's imaginations are great aren't they? My guess is these are just bored kids that hang out in the shadows waiting for someone to come by, then scare the crap out of them. A friend of mine years back got jumped down there under the bridge by a gang of rednecks with bats and other blunt weapons. They beat him and a couple other guys pretty bad. They were not ghosts however, they were very real. One of them was eventually caught and prosecuted for it...
Either way, paranormal or not (NOT), it isn't a good place to play after dark...
