on a side note.... Best Buy got in FiOS packets today so we might be running deals on them soon...w00t. I cant wait to drop Cox... lol
Mount Trashmore area has ViOS available

You're a lesser idiot. Its called sharing bandwith, and has been that way since HSI began..
FYI, FiOS is fiber to the side of your home, It will be all three services, and no bandwidth sharing. A 5mb connection on FiOS will get you 5megs....
I run a 15 meg service from COX and pull 4.73megs on our own test site. (www.test.lvcm.com) "which is down today...go figure)
FiOS will be in the 757 soon....I am anxious.
COX will also be offering a FIber service soon.

Im not a 'lesser idiot' I now what bandwith sharing is... 1 connection split up with like 100 people(atleast for me in an apartment anyways) so when everyone jumps online, you get laggie speeds. I cant use Xlive at nights around 7pm cause i lag off too much...pisses me off ;(
Fiber > Copper but this post is about who here has access to getting it not who is better....goto the Off Topic post for that battle. ;P
First off BLOW me.. i could give 2shits if it has a faster thru put.. its what they will cap it at that matters.. what is the advertised speeds.. right now with cox.. i get 5/2 service I get 650k/sec download and upload around 270k/sec... thats with all this crazy sharing thats going on.. I didnt say fiber was the same as cable.. i was refering to the speeds that will be offered.. if you would fucking read it would not be that hard to understand me ill quote me for you "isnt it the same speed as cable" and im pretty god damn sure you have to have a huge box mounted to the side of your house ill even post a pic incase you have never seen one.

so back to what i was saying what is the speed offered im pretty sure its the same as cable.
