i went to the dealership.

passed with illegal sidepipes, no front plate, blue exterior lights, tv in view of drivers seat, and no rearview mirror.

the weird thing was that i had a set of dummy fog lights just to fill that ugly gap on my old body kit.

they called me, told me to come up there. so i went. i walked in, they told me to unplug the bulbs and it would pass. i unplugged them, he put a check on his piece of paper, and told me " OK, you can hook them back up now".

DONT GO TO MERCHANTS. they failed my 68 cougar 2 times because the guy didnt know where the horn was. he thought it was in the center of the wheel like most cars, but early cougars have a metal bar under the steering wheel as a horn. instead of asking me or someone else, he just went ahead and failed it. they ended up giving it to me for free both times.

but check out Beechmont garage on warwick. they are pretty fair.
