The car could have been driven to the track without a problem. But like Shawn was saying, the tires were brand new, and werent cheap. We really had no idea people would freak out about trailering the car to the track...

Also, that is not the whole reason we brought the trailer to the track. If one of us were to wreck, (probably would have been me btw...) lol we wanted to have the trailer on hand to get the car back to the vb area. We were talking about that before we left...

 

Dude, don't be so full of yourself. I didn't have a clue who you even were until the very end of the night. I mentioned something to a friend of mine about the way you guys were carrying yourself, without even knowing which of you posted under which name. And how can you call BS the fact that I know most of the people that show up on a week by week basis?

I have no problem with the car. The looked great around the track. I understand he didn't know about the trailering issue. All someone did was mention it to him, and instead of just accepting the fact that it is written in the rules, he argued about how the rule was bogus. Guess what, we didn't make the rules. They have, however, worked great for the past 8 or so years that Langley has been doing this event, so why change now because people want to actually build setups for the track? If you want to build a car specifically to race at Langley, do it on a Saturday night. Don't take away from the fun people get from being able to drive their street cars, and actually have a chance at getting somewhere.

Ok, I can understand bringing the trailer for that reason, but leave the car off it. And it obviously couldn't be driven to the track without a problem, because he was complaining it might put wear on his tires, which sounds to me like a problem. I don't care if the tires are brand new and worth $1000 each. Just because you don't want to put 50 miles on your tires doesn't mean you should get extra privelages over the rest of the field. As stated before, if he was worried about the suspension settings tearing up the tires, he should have set the car up AT THE TRACK. What is so hard about that to understand? You guys keep arguing the same point. I have no problems with any of you personally, or with Dyno INC. I just don't agree with the fact that you guys trailered the car there. The attitudes I could really care less about.

 

OK here is my 2 incidents with the dyno inc guys acting better than everyone. Shawn, we've talk many times at millenium after hours, at ryan's house, and meets, yet when I said whats up to you, you looks at me like "why are you talking to me and just walked away". And the kid in the ex hatch, who was asking me for pointers on how to run there cause he did so bad that he dropped out. After a main was over he came up to me and said "One day you can be part of dyno inc, but you have to first step up your ride." Bid D can vouche for that. I could care less. And I understand that you all have lots to prove being a new shop, but was all that celenration and this post really neccissary. Fist time I've seen anyone act like you guys in the last 2 years I've been going, And no one has ever posted on here bragging about their own victory.

 

i dont know if you knew this or not, probably not because you said it and if you knew it you probably wouldnt have said it. But what i said is called a figure of speech, you should look it up sometime.

Devan should of won. enough with that. this whole trailer your car to the track thing, is way out of proportion. if i was coming from Va Beach, i would trailer my car too, but to have a trailer queen win is just absurd. i was wondering why everyone was boo'ing the subaru, but now i can see why.
if Devan trailered his car to the track, i think everyone would be that way towards him also. but Devan is the man and adjusts his car why he is at the track. point being said. it must suck to have a trailer queen.

 

Im not one to hate on many people... I can pretty much get along with anyone. Shawn you said you wanted to know who was acting cocky and such... Well the guy driving the White STi was very cocky. Especially when someone was complimenting him on his suspension setup and him having EDFC (i believe), and the driver of the STi came back with "its not a cheap ass Civic". The guy couldnt have taken the compliment and went on with his night. But you know karma is a bitch. And the very next race he spun out and lost to a "cheap Civic". So your boy definitely ate his own words. And again I have nothing but props to give you guys for coming and trying to spread word about the new shop but I think your antics are going in the wrong direction.

hahaha...i cant wait to drive out to hampton with no a/c, ps, abs, yada yada yada on R-compound tires with -2.5 degree's camber upfront...

 

just for all the complainers i am driving the car next week so i dont want to here any more crap, its definitely not a trailor queen. i am on a stock motor with stock turbo. i dynoed devans carand he ended with 100 more hp than me. it was a great race and i had fun. i hope that this ends this pointless whining and complaining. maybe we will get a rematch. also just want to make sure if its okay if i bring tools and a jack i wouldnt want to upset anybody
