I'm not knocking you, so much as I am Langley. They're ruining the 1-on-1's. It's too "official" now. When it first started, you need a valid inspection, tags, and city sticker, and the car had to be driven to the track. By having the cars trailered in, it's taking away from some of the "fun" it used to have when:

The car looked incredible. It was by far the best looking car in the event, and it definitely backed up its appearance.

thanks mj
Suck it up you pussy. I drive my car to ODU from VB mon-fri, and then back home, and then back to work in downtown Norfolk with no AC on Parada Spec2's. Granted, I do have a radio because I can't be as hardcore as Tecnic1 was with his old ITR. I need the tunes, even if I have blown speakers. Car is incredible, and I tried to wait for you guys to come out of the infield to chat and have a closer look, but it took long. Maybe next time.

Was there really a need for this post? CCC will clean house once they start coming out, and the red mr2 will win the whole thing again, once he comes out.

i hope they dont start doing that the goldmember still needs an inspected sticker ...............

and as far as driving, try sitting in traffic on 64 for about a half an hour before the bridge, on the bridge and through the tunnel with no AC and the driver window stuck in the up position, cause Tom(l8apex) won't give me his damn door! <3 you.....................Big D

not only did he put a new stereo in the s14, but he whines about not having AC too. even Tecnic1 isn't as hardcore as he was with his old ITR so you can't be too hard on yourself.

Last week there was a comment made about David Nemo's (sp?) white Mustang having an expired inspection. That guy usually does really well and I was a little upset when I heard he trailored the car there. It's supposed to be a street car event and when people are trailoring a car there and then saying "It is street legal." I don't get the steet car vibe.

If you can't (or don't want to) drive the car to the track because the suspension settings are too extreme or you are worried about tire wear then I don't think you should be competing. In my eyes it's not a street car.

Brady and company (CCC) always drive their cars up there (to my knowledge). I know for a fact they run alignments set to do well at Langley, but they still drive to the track. Kudos to Brady and his boys for that.

Not being a dick, so don't get this wrong, but I have attended every Langley Wednesday night event for the past 4-5 years. If they actually went by the rules set up for the event, trailering your car is prohibited. The car must be driven TO and FROM the track, with plates, instection, and DOT rated tires.

This is the point of that rule. The event is meant to have the cars racing in true street form. You can always feel free to bring a jack with you, and adjust the suspension at the track. That is what Devan does every week.

Once again, not to sound like a dick, but you guys all came out there extremely cocky, and seemed to rub a lot of the normals the wrong way. I didn't speak a single word to any of your Subbie guys and in fact, I offered up advice to your little buddy with the teal hatch, yet all I got from any of your people were dirty looks and snarls, especially when I walked over to the white STi and started talking with Kirill and taking a few pictures.

Yes they drive their cars to the track. The only car last year that was ever trailered was the VW. But even he would park at the 7-11 down the street, unload and at least drive from there. It didn't sit well with some people, but it is better than driving into the pits and then unloading.
