i see what youre saying, but why not save miles if you can? also isnt it always a thrill to smoke the guy that got towed in as opposed to the one who drove in? makes him feel like a stuffed shirt...of course thats provided you do beat him, lol. I see get where ur coming from though.

 

R Compounds are still DOT street tires. There's probably no reason the Subaru couldn't have driven into the infield on its own.

 

The STi is a street car in its present form..... inspection sticker and all. The reason for trailoring the car in was to not wear the tires away with the 3 degree negative camber its running.

 

You can still save miles. I think last year it was sort of an unwritten rule that you shouldn't trailer your car since they were all supposed to be "street" cars. I guess it's just more fun to watch people unload their cars down the street and drive them in trying not to look guilty.

And I don't care if I beat a trailered car or not. Maybe some people do, though.

 

Ya know what really gets to me about DRAG..... we are a new shop that opened and everyone had some negative things to say, so we build a car, take it to a local event, WIN and people still have negative things to say....... is it jealously or is it just that some people are just natural douche bags? Sorry if this offends anyone in anyway, I just want to understand.

 

actually i think its just people don't care for you personally. possible it is jealousy or possible just don't give a shit about you or your shop.

You seemed to have come from a shop that people just didn't care for and that has just transfered over to your new shop by association.

Thats just the way I see it and I have only been a member of this board for less than a month and i can tell that. The fact that you are ignorant to that fact, I find amusing.

 

what i find amusing is that Shawn puts up with the bullshit here, at work, and at home...he doesnt really find a decent nights rest should he let all the little things bug him everyday. It really is pathetic to have someone like you (random guy) say some shit like that. Association is a bitch, but u know what...if he went and worked at 711 shit wouldnt have changed, that shop (millenium) is that shop...he cut all ties because of how crummy the place is...ill vouche for it first hand...i wont take my car there again. Not because of Dyno Inc. my friends or anything...just because its bad business...i watched a utec fry a few weeks ago because millenium installed it wrong and it arched (?) burnt the thing to shit.

 

guys i drive my car on the street everyday. the reason it was not driven was because of unwanted tire wear and the fact that i have no radio or ac and traffic going to and coming from sucks. anyways i had a great time and hopefully will come out with a better tune next week.
