i have an obdII pocket logger.

Pretty sure it won't work with your car since it's obdI.

Pocket logger wont measure knock on a 2G, the only thing that claims to measure knock in a 2G is the safc2 but i haven't found a way for it to yet.

It's been tested and confirmed that the S-AFC II won't detect knock on a 2G. The only thing that will is DSMlink, because it modifies the internals of the ECU to do so.
A 2G pocketlogger won't work on a 1G either.

In his profile, it says that he has a '95. That's OBDII. A 2G pocketlogger will work with a '95.

96 is the obdII year. 95s I've heard some are and some aren't. I know Hybrid AWD's has two o2 sensors. But the reason you need a 95 eprom for dsmlink in a 2g because it's obdI.
