the "xx.xxmbps" has nothing to do with your actual connection speed, sorry guys. There are far, far more factors, and throttlers, use one of those dslreport "connection tester" websites to get a real speed

Btw the problem was apparently a wire that went bad under my house.. yet it would work at 2am-4pm every day.. shrug.

where are you getting this from? google one of the speed tests if you want an actual download/upload rate..
