does any one work at a local gm dealership?
wondering because my girlfriend needs her keyless entry pad programmed so that she can use it for her car. have looked everywhere online and it says that a dealer has to program it for it to work. thanks in advance.!
Have you tried this:
1. Get in the truck with the doors closed.
2. Hold down the unlock button on the door.
3. Turn the key from on to off 3 times without cranking the motor or until the horn sounds and the locks cycle.
4. After the locks cycle then release the unlock button.
5. Hold the lock AND unlock button down on the remote until the lock cycle, this should not take longer than 30-45 seconds.
6. Once all remotes are programmed turn the key on and the programming mode will end.

Then go to the dealership and get it programed..
If you cant do it, then it has to bee hooked up to the WDS (Or whatever GM calls their scanner).. No other way around it..
