I can't tell you where to go in the Peninsula, because, well, the small upscale Bistro/gourmet place isn't as big there, but I recommend you check one out and take her there.
A place that seats only 20-40 will be much quieter, more intimate, and will allow you to be able to talk in a better environment. Usually, the food itself will be conversation starters as well as the decor. Plus, the fact that you took the time to actually check a place out instead of hitting up some soulless national chain will make you seem more thoughtful (even though, in either case, everyone else is doing the thinking for you
)
If you wanted to take a trip to the southside, I could recommend a number of places to you depending on what you wanted to eat and what you wanted to spend.
P.S. - How the hell is she your girlfriend if you've only gone on three dates?

And I guess I should have put a space in between girl and friend, because we're not really in a relationship yet.
No and no. I told you, no chains.
Vintage Tavern is not far from you at all and WAY better than any place you've named. Or Smithfield Inn, little more drive, but you can walk Main St and make a date of it.
If you don't start listening more, no more shooting.
