Default date ideas

I'm taking my new girlfriend out on a third date on Sunday. She has to work until 6 in the evening, and then she is free to do whatever. Unfortunately, we have to do something on Sunday evening and I'm aware that kind of limits our options. Any ideas for the Newport News/Hampton area? Is Red Star Tavern in City Center any good? I'm trying to do something more creative than "dinner and a movie", but being a Sunday night, I think my hands are sorta tied. Is there anything to do at Yorktown Beach ~9PM?

Thanks for the help

I know Redstar isnt the most romantic cause its a little loud but the fountain is really nice to walk around. There is an italin ice cream / gelato place near the fountain and its delicious.

Also the italin place on Jefferson near food lion across from Fizolis ... somin called Al Fresca is really good too.

Firkin pub is better prices on beer and such and its right around the corner from Redstar, also has a pool table and darts.

There is also bowling in Yorktown also

I know... I'm just trying to get more ideas. Oh, and I'm definitely not going to try and cook in front of her.

Yeah, but after having to look at you for a car ride she might not be able to keep her dinner down.
