I agree with Ultraprince. You can cut the springs, invert them, and to be extra safe rotate the springs (just like the wheels).

make sure that you tape the spring to the strut, that way it wont come off the perch.

yeah that could be a cheap alternative, migh tbe the same price, because you have to buy cutting tools. so what ever you like..cut or matress springs. =)
