do like dinwiddie just redid their track the first 1/8th mile is concrete the rest is asphalt, you dont reall need that much traction at that point anyways

Maybe some of you new people didnt read the ENTIRE thread.

Goal 1- a Road course with a long straight.

Goal 2- ability to run nearly 7 days a week.

Goal 3- Drag strip in the same area.

I find it interesting, the few idiots in this thread who said, "I'm glad the ricers got caught racing on a public highway." Are the same idiots who want to shut down the track idea. W T F? Wait, dont answer, stupidity is identified by contradiction of ones self.
I see a lot of contradictions.

I'm not blaming anyone for that 564 sting. Sorry it happend. But a track running at least til 12AM would have prevented that for the most part.
For the record, the only reason it is difficult to get this going,

1. Land, we need space, and the ability to run later at night, since 90% of us work during the day, until I can make it my primary income.
2. Now that Dragons Road course in Richmond/New Kent County area is being finished/post planning, funding is even less likely for another Road Course so close.
3. People in 757 dont stick together enough for this to get done. Thats why it managed to happen up North. Look at this thread, why on God's green Earth would you NOT HELP another car person accomplish something positive?

Why does it fail, because haters are like crabs.

I read most of this, regardless of how much money we could possibly get this will most likely never happen. Too many legal and financial liabilities.

I have the backing from a Euro shop, more money.

 

If anything you should be looking to gain the backing from people of importance to the community, or the community in general.

 

This is not going to happen. This thread has been opened since april of last year. Almost a year later, nothing.
