I also printed out a few copies with me and handed them out at bowling lastnight and 1 of the older bowlers I use to work with gave me some numbers.

Sorry I havent checked back into this in a while guys. I too will need a good set plan on paper before I can present anything to the owner of Bap. But Im sure he will go for something.
Has anyone gotten in contact with anyone from Genros?
I know they used to have a car club back in the day called Tidewater Streeters. My dad was in that and I will try to get ahold of some of them guys also.
I think we will really need to get ahold of some of the "old timers" to really make this work. Im just looking at it form the cities point of view, but if you have these 40-60 year old guys coming out on friday or saturday nights in their old classic cars to run, it will draw more of a crowd and prolly make the whole thing more family friendly, which the city will go for more.

try the guys at tidewater mopar club if you are looking for older guys
it's a large club and average age has to be 40+
they enjoy racing their cars just as much as showing them

As for meeting today- my info is in the Main Post. If we want a meeting and ride out to the Airstrip- someone call and let me know. Otherwise, im going to find something to get into.

im thinking we should get the word from virginia beach police dept first cause this would all be a waste of time if they say no they're not gonna let you have the land. just my .02 cents. i mean im all for it but why plan things for something that isnt in your hands yet? kinda like me buying parts for the skyline ill never own. i just talked to a friend of mine who's mother is in realistate, if va beach police dept. offers to sell you the land instead of keeping it and "loaning" it to you because of the property size and location your looking at over a million im property value. now whether or not there gonna make you pay for any of it i dont know. but taxes on that land alone will be upwards of 1o grand a year. unless someone is willing to give alot of freebies or hand over a fat ass wade of cash this is going to be very difficult to do

If you please most or at least try, it can be more benefial to the whole rather than the part.
