To the OP. I'm pretty sure that Cox has NFL channels. I subscribed to the rest of the MLB season the other day. It's not gonna be cheap, but if you're a fan and wanna watch them then it's worth it.

I guess not, I am not seeing the game on tomorrow here locally. And I have a feeling it will be hard to see other games. Are there any local stations that play Panther games....or am I going to have to see about getting satellite...?

thanks for any info or help
I feel your pain buddy. I have direct tv, i guess i need to look into ordering the sports package. I couldnt believe the game wasnt going to be broadcast. It was a great ending to their week 1 though.(am radio)

yea i got the digital deluxe....cox simply doesnt offer ALL the games. the ONLY way i could have watched it was if i got direct tv. too late for that.

anyways i kept up with the game online and was able to watch the last 4 minutes on tv.

Panthers are the sleeper team this year.

PS: cox cable is lame. the NFL Network doesnt show ANY games....just highlight shows and analysis. ghey.

Penn State was on ESPN2 yesterday- I was excited, because we get ESPN2 HD, also, and this would be the first time I get to see them play in HD! So, I rushed upstairs to the big HD, turn to ESPN2HD... and it's fucking ESPN News! WTF? On top of that, it's ESPN News in standard definition with some giant-ass scoreboards in the letterboxing. I was pissed as hell. I guess I should be happy they showed the game at all

vvv It was on ESPN2. It was supposed to also be on ESPN2HD, too, but wasn't, which is what pissed me off.

^The penn state game was on and i have charter out here in suffolk. Cant remember if it was on espn or one of the other channels.

On a side note, why does NBC keep renewing it's contract with Notre Dame? I don't know anyone in this are who cares...

digi cable with a one year contract is $64 and $68 with out it a month (digi deluxe)
-you can get just the sports tier for an extra 1.50 to your digi cable

-we are hoping to get the nfl package last year considering directs contract is up after this year and there have been hundreds of complaints with the fcc about direct being the only one with it.

and BTW to everyone with the pref or premier hsi we will be doubling the speed sept 18th!
