so I just moved to the area from NC last week...
as a Panthers fan...I was trying to find a way to get the Panthers games so I can watch them...I figured getting the Deluxe digital package through Cox Cable that comes with a good amount of sports channels and the NFL Network would handle this problem.

I guess not, I am not seeing the game on tomorrow here locally. And I have a feeling it will be hard to see other games. Are there any local stations that play Panther games....or am I going to have to see about getting satellite...?

I can't get Penn State game here, even when the freaking cox digital guide says they're on. It's frustrating as hell to get nothing but teams I couldn't give a shit about.

well the apartments i am in supposedly say i am "not allowed" to use direct tv and the cox cable guys had enough trouble TRYING to mail out my digital box/modem. so i doubt they could answer my questions. guess i am screwed. thanks for the info guys

 

Carolina is regional here, you know. So you really don't have much to worry about, regardless of who you get your TV from.

Hey if its a regional game and some local channel has the rights they can keep it from showing on stations like ESPN. Happens alot with ESPN and Comcast/MASN. And they dont do satellite I would guess because they get a huge deal with Cox for being their one and only.
