That's what it is supposed to look like, it's an electronic ignition. It is missing the cover though, I guess to loose weight?

what gaping holes? i dotn see any gaping holes.

btw i found out that the reason for excessive wind noise is b\c the soft top striker are weak and you have to replace them with hardtop strikers.

Where did the thing about wind noise come from? And how can you tell the difference between hardtop strikers and regular ones?

the soft top on 00-01s dont close tight enough. you need to replace teh soft top strikers (the part that the top latches to) with hard top ones.

It looked to me as though something should be on top of the holes where the spark plugs go. Maybe it's just a shitty picture.
