I got away with doing part time drafting for a semester a few years ago in northern VA, only because I was working there full time already. I was also yelled after i showed my boss my school schedule after i deliberately remember him saying my education is important.
that pay would be fine with me. for part-time entry, i'm not expecting a ton.

Talk to any air conditioning companys. Whether it be HVAC or air balancing. My brother does the same job for an air balancing company and shit is pretty competitive.
