Where the hell can I buy a built tranny or buy the things to make a built tranny? I know that hks and greddy make one, but I'm not spending $10k on a damn transmission....

 

For the 240? You dont need one, work on driving it.

ka trans are obivivously real cheap

ok. first, change out you tranny fluid for some gm syncromesh
your options for a tranny are....
1. none. the stock tranny is good till 450+rwtq on wrinkle wall slicks
2. cryo treat a stock sr tranny
3. call nismo, os giken, hks, toda ect and expect to shell out the mad loot
4. (what im doing, it makes more sence $$$$ wise)
mazworks z32 (300zx) tranny adapter and swap. good till well over 600 hp and built parts are cheap and plentifull. for more info, go to freshalloy, and look under 240sx-advanced

yea, you can swap the bellhouseings off a sr tranny on to a ka and just blow a bunch up, their cheap as shit, and the gearings alittle longer. a little
rb20 trans will not bolt up, and they, like the rb20s, are weak pos.

 

the autos are shit also



no, they dont make a adaptor plate for the t-56. i dont think it would work very well in this situation, as they dot like to shift very well @ high rpm

 

haters
