I realize this is a long shot, but is anybody going from Williamsburg to Hampton tonight and willing to drop me off at the body shop? Unfortunately I can't pay you for your troubles at the moment, but I'll be solvent again at the end of the month and could do so then (or I guess I could pay for gas or something on a credit card). If it sweetens the deal, it'll give you the opportunity to see what one North Carolinian described as "the baddest Mercedes I ever seen" and caused another to exclaim "some German must have a little redneck in him."

yo man , Im heading down to norfolk sometime tonight, prob 8ish I would think , how far off of 64 is the shop.

 

About 2.5 miles (2.4 miles down W Mercury, then a right on King street and it's a 1/10th mile down the road). Though, now it's looking like it may not be ready today...he said he'll call me before he leaves.

EDIT: no wait, that's wrong...there's a closer exit that I simply never used it looks like, hold on I'll google map it. Ok, the closest exit is only like 1.1 miles from the bodyshop.

 

Gotcha , well if it gets more concrete lemme know. Thats not really outa the way.
